The producers of the critically acclaimed film Kesari are gearing up to release a sequel based on the same real-life events. While the movie Kesari is based on the Battle of Saragarhi, the true story of Kesari Chapter 2 is based on the book The Case that Shook Empire, which is about C. Sankaran Nair, who opposed the British for the Jallianwala Bagh genocide
