The opening of 5 minutes is enough to hold you. The action sequences are choreographed well. The visual effects are great and the performances of the actors are amazing, But there are some things such as Prabhas character comedy it raise questions sometimes about what he is doing here. Cameo appearances of Duquer Salman, Krishnakumar as Lord Krishna, and voice-overs done by Arjun Das, Mrunal Thakur, and others made an impact in the movie.
The climax is confusing as to what happened and why. Overall, Kalki movie is well tried by director Nag Aswin.
