Recently, the Munjya movie trailer was released there are many Indian horror movies based on true stories, like Stree, Bhediya whose part 2 is confirmed, and Kantara whose prequel is also set. There are many other movies such as Bulbul which depicts the real horrors of patriarchy.

Munjya movie trailer is set in the modern world where it is based on Indian folklore Munjya the demonic spirit of a young boy whose last wish to marry a girl named Munni. He possessed a young boy during sunsets. Munjya movie cast is Mona Singh, Sharvari Wagh, Abhay Verma, Sathyaraj and Suhas Joshi.
Munjya trailer looks promising and it’s India’s First CGI character. Munjya is directed by Aditya Sarpotdar. Moreover, it’s part of the Stree horror Universe produced by Maddock Production. Munjya film will be released on 7th June 2024 in theaters.
Stree

Stree movie is the first film of Maddock Productions which has had huge success in 2018. Stree movie is based on Nale Ba, a story in the 1990s in Karnataka where men are gone missing. After the massive success of Stree, Stree 2 will be release on 30th August 2024.
Bhediya

Bhediya is a fictional movie based on Yapom folklore a spirit who protects the forest which is also mentioned in the movie. Bhediya 2 is confirmed it will be released in 2025. As per the news Bhediya 2 story is writing table, it will be short after the shooting of Stree 2.
Roohi

Maddock Productions is another movie that is based on the urban folklore story Mudiyapairi a witch who possesses a bride until the girl marries.
Kantara

2022 South Indian movie Kantara which is based on Indian Deiti Gulliga and Panjurli. Two gods who solve the problems of local people. Kantara 2 is confirmed which will prequel movie.
Bramayugam
Mammootty starrer film which reveals a mischievous entity who ruled in the old house named Chathan. As per folklore Chathan never disturbs anyone until he is disturbed during missions.
